• The reason for your enquiry

How the Contact Form Works

When you submit the contact form, your details are sent via a third-party form processing service (Formspree) directly to our inbox at theteam@captainkhaosrecords.com. Formspree processes the submission only in order to deliver it to us — see their own privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy for details of how they handle data in transit.

The hidden anti-spam field included in the form is not used to identify or track visitors — it exists purely to catch automated bot submissions and is never displayed to real users.

Why We Use Your Data

We use the information you submit only to:

• Respond to your enquiry (for example, an unsigned band submission, a press request, or a radio request)
• Keep a record of correspondence relevant to a release or campaign, where relevant

The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest — responding to enquiries you have chosen to send us — and, where you submit music or campaign material for consideration, your consent to that submission.

How Long We Keep It

We keep contact form submissions and email correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to maintain a record of any ongoing working relationship. We do not keep data longer than we need it for these purposes.
